It would be nice if there was a Print page to PDF feature like there is in some of the other CMS systems...

Take a look at http://html2pdf.seven49.net/Web/ - this basically let you convert a URL into a PDF. This service is very easy to use, you simply have a button/link on your website like http://convert.html2pdf.seven49.net/?url_to_render=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/16869320?print=true and the service will fetch the page, and make a PDF out of it.

The suggestion above is just a work around - if anyone knows of a .net library which doesn't cost an arm and a leg and can convert html, images etc. into a PDF (pretty much like the service described above) do drop a line here.

When outputting a page to PDF, you need to take into account print-stylesheets. These can strip navigation menus, re-render headers, and add URLs after hyperlinks... making the final documents more usable if subsequently printed.

There's a good guide at: http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2011/11/24/how-to-set-up-a-print-style-sheet/
