Welcome - always glad to see new faces :)

You use a C1 Function to turn data into html and you have a number of options - choose the ones that you prefer:

To create a C1 Function using only wizards / visual tools create a "Visual Function" in the Functions perspective. Here is a video showing it: http://docs.composite.net/C1/Videos/Data.aspx?video=1RcTEIy1SBw (jump in 05:55). This tool will nog let you get very far, but it is easy to use.

To create a C1 Function using XSLT, create an XSLT Function - documentation galore at http://docs.composite.net/C1/XSLT.aspx

To use ASP.NET Form controls, check http://docs.composite.net/C1/ASP-NET/HelloWorldControl.aspx

To use ASP.NET MVC 3, check this video and http://docs.composite.net/C1/ASP-NET/HelloWorldMVC.aspx

You can also write raw C# that emit xhtml in a XDocument structure and inject the function via C# Functions.

You can grab data from C# using the DataConnection class (API) - tutorial at http://docs.composite.net/C1/Data/AccessingDataWithCSharp.aspx

You insert a C1 Function into a page area using Insert | Function. You can also add function calls to markup like template html.

I hope this helps :)

I figured it out from watching the video.

Thanks.
