Form Submit Handler: Change the output

Hi,

I am currently using the Form Submit Handler for a contact form, although I should maybe use the Forms Renderer instead...

Well, I would like to make the following changes to the output (the message that I get when user submits input):

  1. If the input in the textarea have linebreaks, those should be maintained in the mail that is sent to me.
  2. The different form-fields (name, email, phone, message etc.) should be mailed in a pre-defined format, either in tables or DIVs.

Am I looking at a lot of work or?..

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Unfortunately, Form Submit Handler and Forms Renderer don't allow to manage email format.

If you are the C# developer you can download source code of the Form Submit Handler module from Composite C1 Packages (Source Code tab contains Download link) and try to modify code (you should look at methods Composite.Forms.FormSubmitHandler.Handler.SendEmail() and Composite.Forms.FormSubmitHandler.Handler.GetForm() )
