How can I remove the Default Title Name and Menu Item?

I have my own Navigation and page layout for my pages using javascripts and CSS. I would like to use the Navigation and flush it against the top of the page but every page I create has the default "menu title name link" and the "page name title" on it.  How can I remove these so that my page uses my <div> tags of navigation menu?

Thank you!

Hi cazarez,

If I get you right, on every page you create, there is the Page Title and the Navaigation Menu you don't want to have.

These two elements are part of the page layout template, and you can easily delete  them.

  1. In the right upper corner of the page in Visual Editor, check the name of the layout template, e.g. "FrontPage"
  2. In the Layout perspective, locate and edit this template.
  3. Now under the <body> element, remove these two elements:

<f:function name="Composite.Pages.QuickSitemap" /> and <rendering:page.title />

The first one shows the navigation menu, the second shows the page title. Check other elements in the template, you may want to get rid of them, too :)
